Orange and Nearby Computing Partner to Accelerate the Next Generation of 5G and Edge Services in Europe
Barcelona, Spain, February, 2026
Orange (MasOrange group) has selected Nearby Computing, and its orchestration platform NearbyOne as a strategic technology partner to accelerate the evolution of its enterprise 5G, private network, and Edge services.
As AI accelerates the digital transformation across nearly all industries, low-latency applications, real-time data processing, and distributed edge environments are rapidly becoming core enterprise requirements demanding a new generation of telco services. Operators across Europe are under increasing pressure to deliver scalable digital platforms that deliver operational efficiency, market differentiation, and, ultimately, revenue growth.
In this context, Orange and Nearby Computing are joining forces to redefine how advanced 5G and Edge services are designed, deployed, and managed for enterprises and public administrations.
At the core of this collaboration is NearbyOne, the edge-to-cloud orchestration and automation platform developed by Nearby Computing. NearbyOne enables the integrated management of network, compute, and services across distributed environments, reducing complexity and allowing Orange to scale enterprise services efficiently while maintaining control of operational costs.
As part of the partnership, both companies will develop a web-based platform enabling corporate customers to autonomously configure and manage their private 5G networks, significantly simplifying deployment processes and accelerating time-to-value. This approach empowers enterprises with greater flexibility while enabling Orange to industrialize service delivery at scale.
The ability to coordinate network infrastructure, edge computing, and associated services from a unified orchestration layer is becoming a decisive competitive factor in the enterprise telecom market. Automation and centralized management are now fundamental to scaling advanced services sustainably.
“With this partnership, Orange aims to make the latest connectivity and cloud computing technologies available to its B2B customers, to offer the most competitive products and services on the market that deliver tangible business value, with the highest security guarantees. Orange wants to bring the most advanced connectivity to companies and public administrations, delivering real business value and driving the country’s digital transformation”
Miguel Santos
CTO at Orange
“Modern enterprises require end-to-end adaptive solutions matching their exact needs over time. Orchestration and automation are essential for operators to grow in the B2B segment while keeping OPEX under control and accelerating time-to-market. Being selected by Orange is a powerful validation of our architectural vision to support integrated end-to-end services.”

CEO NEARBY COMPUTING
This partnership reinforces Orange’s strategy to position itself as a long-term digital partner, offering advanced, secure, and scalable connectivity solutions that evolve in line with enterprise needs, while leveraging Nearby Computing’s orchestration expertise through NearbyOne to transform complexity into competitive advantage.
