Nearby Computing contributes to NeoNephos to advance open Telco–Cloud federation
NeoNephos, part of the Linux Foundation Europe, is an open-source initiative driving interoperability and digital sovereignty across the European cloud–edge continuum.
Within its Katalis project, Nearby Computing has contributed two key open-source components — the OPG EWBI Operator and the OPG EWBI API — implementing the GSMA Open Gateway East/West Bound Interface through Kubernetes.
These contributions establish a bridge between telecom and cloud environments, enabling true multi-domain federation.
Through its orchestration platform , NearbyOne, Nearby Computing operationalizes these capabilities, making federated Telco–Cloud automation a reality and reinforcing Europe’s commitment to an open, sovereign digital infrastructure.
